It’s the word our parents told us to stop using!
Their reasoning was usually, “Because I said so, that’s why!” But at 2013 ILC Dallas we are letting the word loose again. If you were to tell your parents you’re using the WHY word again, my guess is they would respond by asking you, “Why?”
Well, WHY not ask WHY?
WHY do you live where you live?
WHY do you work where you work?
WHY has God gifted you in this way?
WHY does he stir your passion for one thing, but not another?
WHY are you faced with the challenges you face right now?
WHY is God expecting more from you now at this time in your life?
At the 2013 CASA Network International 50+ & Intergenerational Leadership Conference, deep in the heart of Texas, we will work together to help you answer that question! This is the time, the “second half,” the “third quarter,” or whatever you call this season of life and leadership. NOVEMBER 6-8, The CASA Network is hosting the International Leadership Conference in the beautiful and historic First Baptist Church of Dallas. We will spend three amazing days together with leaders like Richard Leider, Stuart, Jill and Pete Briscoe, Michael Comer, Chap Clark, Amy Hanson, Missy Buchanan, Jeff Mattesich, David Fraze, and Glenn Havumaki. We will rub shoulders with many pastors, leaders and men/women who are serving those living life’s second half right now. And it wouldn’t be Texas if we didn’t “pick and grin” some classic country, western swing and gospel tunes, maybe even some old time rock and roll with the Texas Roundup Band!
